The Magento 2 Marketplace Product Tracking Status module provides the option to manage the product order status. The seller and admin both can change the product status. Also, a seller can chat with the admin for any respective order.
As product tracking is a major part of product order management. with the help of this module, users can get the status of their placed order.
Note: Magento 2 Product tracking status is an addon of Magento 2 Multi Vendor Module so you need to install it first to run this module.

Features of Magento 2 Marketplace Product Tracking Status
- Track the status of the Individual product in the order.
- Admin and supplier can manage it from either end on admin consent.
- Admin can create the custom status.
- Assign status to the supplier.
- Admin and Supplier communication on order product.

Install an Extension from Webkul Store
#1 Download Module
Firstly, you need to log in to Webkul Store, go to My Account>My Purchased Products section, verify and then download and extract the contents of this zip folder on the system.
#2 Upload Folder
Once the module zip is extracted, follow path src>app and then copy the app folder into the Adobe Commerce Cloud root directory on the server as shown below:
#3 Run Commands
After uploading the module folder, you need to run the following commands in the Magento 2 root directory:
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento setup:di:compile
php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
php bin/magento indexer:reindex
php bin/magento cache:flush
Multi-Lingual Support
The admin will navigate through Store->Configuration->General ->Locale Options for multilingual support.
After that, select the locale as English (United States) (the language into which the admin wants to translate his store content).
Language Translation:
For translating the module language, navigate through src/app/code/Webkul/MpProductTrackingStatus/i18n and edit the en_US.csv file.
After that, rename the CSV as “en_SA.csv” and translate all right-side content after the comma in the Arabic language. After editing the CSV, save it.
Then upload it to the path src/app/code/Webkul/MpProductTrackingStatus/i18n where Magento 2 is installed on the server. The module gets translated into the Arabic Language. It supports both RTL and LTR languages.
Admin Configuration Magento 2 Marketplace Product Tracking
The admin will navigate through Stores> Configuration> Product Tracking Status to make general configurations as shown in the screenshot:
General Settings
To configure the module admin needs to configure the module.
Module Status- The admin can enable/disable the module for users and sellers.
Products Shipped Destination – The admin needs to choose the destination of placed product order.
Status Sequence– If yes is selected then the vendors can only assign status in the sequence the admin has set.
Status Sequence Page Description– Here admin can enter the text that will be visible on the Status sequence page to the vendors.
Seller Status Template
Custom Status By Seller – The seller can add custom status for the placed order.
Once the configuration is done, the admin can move forward to create the status and tracking messages.
Product Tracking Management
Here, the admin can manage the product tracking status and create new ones.

The admin can check the created product tracking status here and also create a new status as per requirement.
Create New Status
Moreover, when the admin wants to create a new status they need to fill in these details then they can make the status.
Status Name – Need to add status name here like order placed, order received, ready to ship, etc.
Status Code – Add code for the status name.
Enable for Vendors – This option is only for if the admin wants to show any particular status to the seller or not by enabling this option.
Label for Customers – Decide the label of the status on the seller’s end.
Status Visible to customers – If this option is enabled then customers can see the product tracking status on their panel.
Manage Status Name
Here, the admin can set the two different store view names on Default Store View and Test Store View.
Manage Storefront Label
Here, the admin can set the two different store view names for the customer end on Default Store View and Test Store View. Then click on the save button to save the status, which you have created.
Once the status is added successfully admin will get a success message for adding the status.
Manage Status Sequence
Here, the admin can manage the status sequence, name, code, visibility for vendors and customers, and label for customers.
Product Tracking Status – Customer Dashboard
The customer can place the order as usual from the store. They can check the order status if the admin enables permission for them. Add the product to the cart and proceed further.
Furthermore, the product is added to the cart and the customer can proceed with check out option. Where they can add a shipping address and choose a shipping carrier.
Once the method gets chosen customer will click on the next button and proceed further to the next window.
By agreeing to the terms and condition customer can place the order and get the order id with that customer can track the order.
The user can check this order information on their order history.
Product Tracking Status – Seller Dashboard
The seller can track the order status of the customer’s order on their dashboard.
In the order history section seller can check the order status.
Note: The sellers can not change the order status in the previous status.
For Example, As shown in the below dropdown list there are multiple statuses are mentioned which can be decided by the seller.
If the seller set the status of the order as ‘order confirm’ for a customer order.
Then the ‘order confirmed’ status will not display in the dropdown list as shown in the screenshot.
Product Tracking Status – Admin End
To check the order tracking status of the customer’s and sellers’ activity admin needs to access the order section.
Here, you can find the orders and check any individual orders.
From the order section, the admin can change the order status of the product. So the seller and customer will find the updated order status.
Admin Seller Chat
The supplier can chat with the admin for any specific order from the seller panel.
The admin will find that chat in their dashboard in the order section
The admin can revert the chat from the order section in the items ordered tab.
