Laravel eCommerce DHL Shipping

The module allows the admin to use DHL shipping services for the shipment of products. This module calculates the shipping rates based on DHL APIs for product shipping.

This shipping method is the most trusted shipping method in terms of cost and product delivery and now it is available with the Bagisto. The admin has permission to set the name for the shipping method and can even select the countries in which the shipment of products is available.

Note– To use this module, you must have installed Bagisto in your system.

• The admin can enable or disable the DHL Shipping method.
• The admin can set the DHL shipping method name that will be shown from the front side.
• The admin can allow country-wise shipping from the backend.
• The admin can also define the allowed methods and weight units.
• The admin can also set the content type.

• Run the following command.

composer require bagisto/bagisto-dhl-shipping

• Run these commands below to complete the setup.

composer dump-autoload
php artisan route:cache 
php artisan config:cache

Now execute the project on your specified domain.

The admin needs to set the origin address, for this also the admin needs to navigate to Configure>>Sales>>Shipping.

The admin also needs to fill in all the details for the origin address as shown above.

Account Number

Admin will also enter an account number after registering to the DHL website.

Weight Unit

Choose units to measure the weight either in Pounds or Kilograms.

Dimension Unit

Choose units to measure the dimension either in centimeters or inches.

Content-Type

There are two options available document and non-document.

Allowed Methods

Admin can choose the various methods that can be applied to this shipping method.

Ready time

Package ready time after order submission (in hours).

Allow Save DHL Details

Choose the yes option to allow the seller to save DHL details.

Allow Shipping For Countries 

Admin can choose the various countries where the shipping will be allowed.

After filling in all these details click on the Save button.

After successfully configuring the DHL shipping, the customers can use the DHL shipping method for the delivery of their products.

Once the order has been placed the customer can see all the details regarding the order on the order summary page including the shipping method used by the customer for the delivery of the package as shown below:-

The admin can see all the orders that have been placed under the admin panel by navigating to Sales>>Orders as shown in the image below:-

The admin can create the invoice and the shipment by clicking on the eye button for the particular customer.
