Any buyer can become a seller and can sell their products on Marketplace. The seller can manage the inventory, orders and many things. Now we are adding new features to our Magento Multi Seller Marketplace. With the help of these updated features, admin has more control over the things. Magento multi seller marketplace updated features allow the admin to have a control over the Admin order approval, Product purchase limit, Seller profile URL generation and much more.

Admin order approval
It is an updated feature of Magento Multi Seller Marketplace here admin can choose auto approve orders or approve every single order manually. Admin can set it under System > Configuration > Marketplace > Order Settings
If admin chooses “Yes” then every single order placed by buyer does not reflect under My Order History in Seller Panel until the admin approves the order.
Admin can approve order through Sales > Orders here admin select desired order and apply action “Approve Order”.
After approval from the admin, the order will reflect under My Order History in Seller Panel.
If admin chooses “No” in Order Settings then every single order placed by buyer automatically reflect under My Order History in Seller Panel for further processing by the seller.
Product purchase limit
With the help of this feature, seller can fix the quantity that can be purchased by the buyer at the time of placing the order. It is applicable on single order only. Buyer can place multiple orders to purchase more quantity which is fixed by the seller.
Seller can fix product limit while adding a new order or by editing an existing product.
By default allowed qty. to purchase a product by the buyer is 5 and if he wants to add more than 5 qty. in his cart or he wants to modify already added product in cart to more than 5 then he gets an error message.
The default maximum qty. to be purchased by a buyer is 5 but seller can change this qty. also as per his/her requirement.
If seller changes maximum qty. to 2 than buyer gets error message accordingly.
Add Related products, Up-Sell products and Cross-Sell products
Magento Multi Seller Marketplace Updated Features helps seller to add Related Products, UP-Sell Products and Cross-Sell Products while adding a new product or by modifying an existing product.
Related Products :
Related products are meant to be purchased in addition to the item the customer is viewing. Simply click the checkbox of a product to place it in the shopping cart. The placement of the Related Products block varies according to theme and page layout. In the example below, it appears at the bottom of the Product View page. With a 2 column layout, the Related Product block often appears in the right column.
Up-Sell Products :
Up-sell products are items that your customer might prefer instead of the product currently viewed. An item offered as an up-sell might be of a higher quality, more popular, or have a better profit margin. Up-sell products appear on the product page, under a heading such as, “You may also be interested in the following product(s).”
Cross-Sell Products :
Cross-sell products are similar to impulse purchases in the checkout line at a grocery store. Cross-sell products appear on the shopping cart page, just before the customer begins checkout.
Now seller can add Related Products, Up-Sell Products and Cross-Sell Products from his seller panel while adding a new product or by editing an existing product. Seller can add these products only from the list of existing products.
Adding related products
To add a Related Product seller just need to check products appearing in the list of related products. If there are multiple selections of products as related products then seller can fill a position of appearance also on the product page. After that save the product.
Adding up-sell products
To add a Up-Sell Product seller just need to check products appearing in the list of Up-Sell Products. If there are multiple selections of products as Up-Sell Products then seller can fill a position of appearance also on the product page. After that save the product.
Adding cross-sell products
To add a Cross-Sell Product seller just need to check products appearing in the list of Cross-Sell Products. If there are multiple selections of products as Cross-Sell Products then seller can fill a position of appearance also on cart page. After that save the product.
Separate seller registration page (seller central)
Magento Multi Seller Marketplace Updated Features helps admin to keep separate seller registration page as seller central then it is possible through this updated feature. Admin can perform this action through System > Configuration > Marketplace > Landing Page Settings Here admin modify Display Seller registration block on customer registration page setting as “No” and choose Marketplace Landing Page Layout as “Layout 2” or “Layout 3”.

Automatic Seller profile URL Generation
With the help of this feature, seller can generate his own URL if it is available (not used by any other seller). Admin allow this feature under System > Configuration > Marketplace > Seller Profile Page Setting
Seller can also edit his shop URL if allowed from admin.
