Prestashop Product and Order Social Share: Drive more traffic to your Prestashop store and boost conversion rates by allowing customers to share your products on popular social media platforms. Reward your customers with discount vouchers for sharing the products and orders on Facebook.

• Add social share icons/buttons to your Prestashop product page.
• Give vouchers to customers for sharing products/orders on Facebook.
• Manage the visibility of social sharing buttons.

• Allows customers to share products and orders on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other social media networks.
• Assign vouchers to the customers for sharing products/orders on Facebook.
• Set the number of times a customer needs to share on Facebook to receive a voucher.
• Select the URL (shop or first product) to be shared on social sites while sharing orders.
• Configure the text to be displayed on social sites while sharing products or orders.
• Restrict the categories on which the voucher will be applicable.
• Customers can view a list of vouchers received from their respective accounts.
• View a list of vouchers assigned to the customers from the back office.

Kindly note the vouchers are given to the customers for sharing products or orders on Facebook only.

• Firstly, go to the module manager in the back office and click on ‘upload a module’.
• After that, drag and drop the module file or select the file from the system.
• In this way, the module installation will be successful.

After the installation of the module, you need to configure it.

The module configuration consists of the following three sections:

• Configuration for Product and Order Social Share
• Voucher Settings
• Social Media API Settings.

Let’s discuss them one by one.

Configuration for Product and Order Social Share

Under this tab, you can configure on which social media channels the customers can share the products and orders. Also, you can set the text to display while sharing the the product or order on social media site.

Note: Cutomized text set by admin in the above two fields will be sent while sharing order or product on these social media sites:

3. Skype
4. reddit
5. Flipboard
6. Hootsuite
7. houzz
8. Yummly
9. Telegram

Voucher Settings

Under this tab, you can configure the settings related to a voucher to be assigned to a customer for sharing the product or order on Facebook.

Social Media API Settings

Facebook Share Count – This option lets you define the number of times a customer has to share on Facebook to receive a voucher.

After configuring the module settings, let’s have a look at the front end workflow of the module.

On the product page, a customer can view the social media icons you have enabled from the back office. When a customer clicks on a social media icon, say Twitter or Facebook, a window appears on the screen where he can share the product’s url.

The social media icons are visible on the order confirmation and details page. A customer can share the order on social media site by clicking on the icon.

A new tab “Social Share Vouchers” gets available under catalog in the Prestashop back office. From here, you can view a list of the customers who have received the vouchers for sharing products or orders on Facebook.

Once the voucher is assigned, the voucher information is sent to the customer via email.
