Note: When the product-wise configuration is enabled then the product-specific configuration will have higher priority than the global rule.

For example: If we disable the “Product wise configuration” option from the module configuration and set to display the offer option as “no” from the specific product as displayed in the below image.

Even then the offer option will be displayed to the customer as displayed in the below image because the admin disables the option from the module configuration to work according to the specific product configuration.

In the above screenshot, we can see the offer request is placed for the combination selected by customer on the product page. In this offer, the customer has requested 10 products at $15 per unit. If admin accept this offer, then the customers can purchase more than 10 units at a specified price per unit.

Let me explain this with the help of an example. Suppose a customer has placed an offer request for 10 units of a product X at $20 per unit. Admin accepted the offer. The total price a customer needs to pay is 200$ (excluding taxes). Now, if a customer purchase more than 10 units say 15, then also he will get a discount on additional units purchased. Now he has to pay $300 for 15 units.

In case of a normal product, the offer request is placed for a whole product.

Kindly note the final offer price provided by admin will be based on tax exclusive price.

Admin can choose to accept or decline the offer. Also, admin can negotiate with the customer regarding an offer via a messaging system.

    12-5

When the admin sends a message to the customer, the status of the offer request changes from Waiting to In Negotiation. Also, the customer will receive an email containing the message.

When admin clicks on “ALLOW OFFER FOR CUSTOMER” button, the offer request gets accepted and specific price for a customer gets automatically created.

    18-3

Once admin has accepted the offer request, the customer can purchase the number of items he selected at a specified price per unit.

Also, an email notification for offer acceptance is send to the customer.

    19-3

    Product Page

Now, a customer can proceed to purchase the product. Kindly note that a customer has to purchase the minimum quantity he specified while submitting the offer request to avail the discount.

    20-3

On the product page, a customer can view the table displaying per unit discount he will get on purchasing 5 quantity of the product.

    Voucher Creation for Offer Request

Admin can also create a voucher for the offer request under Customer Offer Request. This can be explained with the help of an example.

Suppose there is a product X whose price is $24 (Tax Excluded). Now, a customer need 5 quantity of the product X at $20 per unit and submits the offer for the same. Admin accepts the customer’s offer.

Now, while creating a voucher, admin has to enter $20 in the amount field i.e $4 discount per unit equals to $20.

    23-2
