If we create a Subscription type membership in the Marketplace Membership Module then it needs to update the membership as per the Subscription type membership settings. For this it needs a payment method which provides recurring payments. In Opencart, Paypal express checkout payment method provides recurring payments and we have to add some code under “ipn()” function of this payment method model file. Here is the code that will be added in the “ipn()” function which calls at the time of recurring payments.
We have to add this above code under a condition which checks the transaction type is “recurring_payment”. Here is the condition which checks the transaction type.
